YOKKAICHI
I believe this early 1838 series by Kunisada inspired the collaboration between Hiroshige and Toyokuni III (Kunisada's later name). In 1854 & 1855 the two artists joined together to create the Double Brush series. It is interesting that many portions of the scenes from this series were later used by Hiroshige in his 53 Stations of the Tokaido.
